Introducing…the Simple Process.
We really enjoy a simple, clear system. It provides a “map” per se, to the successful completed remodel project that we are all aiming for. We find that following this Design Process assures all of us that the relevant questions, selections, concerns, and communication are being addressed in a logical order.
Follow the steps from 1 – 6 (Consult to Creation) and let us know if you are ready to get started.
Strong communication starts here and continues through each phase of the project. We will ask a lot of questions–carefully listening to fully understand you & your family, your vision and your fears. Incorporating your dreams, space attributes and/or restrictions, and desired budget is the job of a certified designer. Let us take the burden off of you!
Design Presentation & Proposed Budget
Based on our prior discussions, we’ll show you design ideas along with a corresponding budget range that will incorporate your project objectives. Hopefully, we have hit the mark and you are ready to formally start the detailed design process.
Design/Build Retainer Agreement
As we make the commitment to work together, the design retainer received by DreamMaker holds us to the scope and budget range already discussed and outlined in our agreement. With this step of the process, we can eliminate any “surprise” costs that most people fear the most.
Our designer will guide you through the design and selection process to bring your vision to life.
From cabinets to switch plates, from flooring to lighting, your designer will guide you through the design and selection process to identify every element of your new kitchen, bathroom or other room in your home – all in the comfort of our showroom.
Good communication! The contract is an integral part of communication providing clear understanding for you and for us of the expectations of the project. This will include start date, payment schedule, number of days project will take for completion, and necessary drawings and documents.
And the Fun Begins!
This is when the action happens and we will make this as convenient for you as possible. We will do our part to ensure that our custom order materials are in house before we start your project we want you to be prepared as well. To accomplish this, we will do an initial walk through to introduce your Lead Carpenter and go through the logistics of the project including a job calendar. The Lead Carpenter will schedule and manage all trade partners needed for your project and communicate the plan for each day. Your Lead Carpenter will be your main contact throughout the entire process ensuring the final product is all you envisioned it to be.
